The ISO 22000 is addressed to all the types of organizations directly implied in the food chain :

• agricultural producers
• eedingstuff producers
• primary education food producers
• organizations of transformation of food
• wholesalers
• retailers etc...

but also all organizations indirectly implied in the food chain :

• producers of pesticides, fertilizers, veterinary medicinal
• products organizations in charge with transport and storage
• manufacturers of equipment, materials of packing, products of cleaning
• service providers: cleaning-disinfection... etc

In the food chain, a weak link can all compromise. This is why the ISO 22000 applies at all the organizations which are implied in an aspect of the food chain and which want to implement a system making it possible to provide sure products permanently.
