The ISO 22000:2005 is the first standard of a family which will include/understand the following documents :
- ISO 22005, Systems of traceability in the food chain - general Principles relating to the design and the realization, which will be diffused soon in the form of DIS.
- ISO/TS 22004, Systems of safety management of the foodstuffs - Hot lines relating to the application of the ISO 22000:2005, which appears from here November 2005, and which will give significant hot lines to contribute to the installation of the requirements of the ISO 22000.
- ISO/TS 22003, Systems of safety management of food - Requirements for the organizations carrying out the audit and the certification of systems of safety management of the food, which will give hot lines harmonized for the accreditation of organizations of certification ISO 22000 and will define the rules to audit a system of safety management of food and to establish its conformity to the standard. This technical specification would be published in first quarter of 2006.
- ISO 22002, Systems of management of quality - Guide for the application of the ISO 9001 in vegetable production, new project being studied.
Moreover, in partnership with the Center international trade (CCI) - the technical agency of co-operation of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Developme des (UNCTAD) and of the world Organization of trade (OMC) - the ISO also prepares, for SME and of the developing countries, a checklist easy to use, entitled ISO 22000: Are you ready?.
NB: A technical specification (ISO/TS) is not an international standard (ISO). It must be examined every three years at least in order to decide to confirm it for new a three years period, to revise it, continue its treatment to transform it into international standard, or to cancel it. After one six years period, a technical specification must either be transformed into international standard, or cancelled.
